Continuing Professional Development is organised by the Royal College of Pathologists, and details of the scheme may be found on the College website.
 
The Health Professions Council. (HPC) has guidelines for Continuing Professional Development and the maintenance of registered status.

Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath)
 
Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists may be attained by examination in Clinical Cytogenetics as well as by other routes, e.g. publications.  Details are available from the College website

The ACC FRCPath part 1 'virtual' study group will be running again for candidates sitting the exam in Spring 2011.
